Peter Maki, Butter Brook Golf Club's PGA Director of Golf, brings 15 years experience to the position. A PGA member professional since 2004, he has an extensive background at some of the finest facilities in the country.

After graduating from Central Connecticut State University in 1996 with an economics degree, Peter began his career at the prestigious Tournament Players Club at River Highlands in Cromwell, CT, home of the PGA Tour Greater Hartford Open. After a stint at the notable Nashawtuc Country Club in nearby Concord, he progressed to Franklin Country Club in Franklin, MA for a very successful 4 year stay where, among many other accolades, he won the 2003
New England PGA Assistant Professional Championship. He was offered the
head golf professional position at Plantation Palms Golf Club in Land O'Lakes, FL, just north of Tampa, in the fall of 2004 after obtaining Class A status and membership into the PGA of America earlier that year.

Peter's knowledge, experience, playing and teaching skill, and personality make him the perfect complement to Butter Brook Golf Club. Please be sure to stop in and introduce yourself to Peter the next time you're at the club.
